The Arbitrator.

Walking through life, you can feel the tension.
You're waiting for someone to do you harm.
There's no trust anywhere.
To you,everything is a scam.
You accuse people and victimize yourself
because you like to be pitied.
Yet you preach peace and forgiveness.
The way you live your life, honestly, I'm intrigued.
You claim to be religious and you wail about the sins of the world.
You wail about the theft and adultery that is so common among us.
You complain about the lack of discipline , and the indecency of the new generation.
You eye them with contempt.
Then I wonder, why didn't you strike your chest with grief when you set that poor boy on fire?
Why don't you reflect back on that day with sorrow in your heart?
To keep your demons at bay and to calm your dark thoughts, you tell yourself,
 "It was the right thing to do"
Now tell me something oh friend,
What will you do at the end?
Because of the life span you cut,
Your spot in eternity will be hot.
